Gewurztraminer is one of the specialties of our village. It comes from 20-years-old vines and more, on a heavy ground composed of ancient clay and limestone.

Geographical location

The grapes come from our vines in Gertwiller and Heiligenstein. The grapes fermented with the skin as it is the case with red wines. This wine is clasified in an other category of wine called ORANGE WINES.

The polyphenols present on the skin of the berries give this orange color to the wine.

Description of the wine
